Yes, John, and we all know that if Melancon or anyone stands next to OBAMA
and initiates contact with each other (in some meaningful joyous way), that
something will most assuredly rub off on that person who makes contact with
OBAMA ----

That's funny, I am yet to hear BP (or any other oil company) say they are
not willing to pay for everything.  Melancon's suggestion to back the Obama
plan is like a doctor suggesting neurosurgery for a headache - it's over
kill from a knee jerk reaction.  All that is need is a law requiring every
well to have the safety cut off valve - like most wells already have.  The
BP - Trans Ocean rig was of only a small percentage that didn't - and that
was approved by MMS.  I don't know what's the issue hear in Melancon's
statement.  Sort of like someone confessing to a crime, but the DA wants to
look tough to the public and keep repeating and repeating "but we're gonna
prove you did, we're gonna prove you did it."  Geez, enough already of the
"tough talk" act.  BP is in the wrong, they know it, they've admitted time
and time over and say they will pay for it all.

Oh that's right, Melancon is down 20 points in the polls and has to look
tough by standing next to Obama.  Yeah, like that's gonna win the election.
