[StBernard] Newspapers Failing

Even though our local paper the Times Picayune has printed several full page
adds recently saying thank you to the subscribers for making the TP a number
one paper, they have recently asked some employees to take off 10 days,
unpaid in lieu of a layoff.  

My neighbor's son who does print work, been with the TP for many years, was
one of these lucky employees. Funny how some corporate events remain under
the wire.
