BRETON SOUND BRIDGE CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC FOR REPAIRS THIS WEDNESDAY, JUNE
16

 

Breton Sound Bridge, inside of the Breton Sound Marina in Hopedale, will be
closed for repairs starting this Wednesday, June 16 at 8 p.m. until tomorrow
morning at 6 a.m. The bridge will be closed to all pedestrian and vehicular
traffic during this time period. Please remove all vehicles from the Breton
Sound Marina prior to 8 p.m. tonight because no vehicles will be allowed to
pass over the bridge while it is being repaired. 

 

All workers from every St. Bernard Parish Command Center, including
Hopedale, Shell Beach and Delacroix are asked to report to work at 7 a.m. on
Thursday June 17, instead of the normal check-in time of 6 a.m. This will
allow ample time to ensure the bridge repairs are complete and it is safe to
resume normal operations.
