Two men arrested in unrelated St. Bernard Parish sex crimes

Two St. Bernard Parish men have been booked in unrelated sex crimes,
authorities said.
David Anderson, of Acorn Drive in Violet, was booked with two counts of
carnal knowledge of a juvenile July 9, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's
Office said.

Anderson, 42, is accused of having sexual relations with a juvenile girl on
at least two occasions, Chief Deputy Sheriff James Pohlmann said. The
investigation was started in April after the girl, who is a teenager, told
school officials that she and Anderson had sex at least twice.

Anderson has been released from jail on $45,000 bond, the Sheriff's Office
said.

In an unrelated case, a 26-year-old Chalmette man was booked July 10 with
aggravated incest involving his juvenile half-sister, authorities said. The
Sheriff's Office is not releasing the man's name to protect the identity of
the teen-age girl. The man remains in St. Bernard Parish Prison in lieu of
$255,000 bond.

Pohlmann said deputies were called to the victim's home on July 10 and her
father told them his daughter said she had sex with her half-brother on two
occasions in July. The 26-year-old half-brother, who also lived at the same
address, was arrested when he returned home later.
