agree JY -- it just doesnt make sense
 
will be a very interesting election, with the hospital property tax millage
and charter changes on department head qualifications;  and I dont think
we've seen the end of that garbage fee

You may be correct SJK, I'm not sure.

However, at  a time when the council has put forth revenue generating issues
on the ballot (fire and other that were voted down) and to discuss the
reduced state of parish finances and then to say "happy days are here again,
raises for all!", it just doesn't make sense.
