Yeah, it's a federal opearation being run by federal commanders, over
federal employees or federal contractors using equipment under federal
control.  I think I can actually hear the laughter coming all the way from
the White House.

St. Bernard Parish issues Executive Order for response assets to stay put

 

St. Bernard Parish President Craig Taffaro has issued a precautionary
Executive Order that no oil spill response assets or resources are to be
removed from any St. Bernard Parish oil spill response staging area. The
response is not over in St. Bernard Parish, and it would be premature to
demobilize any assets at this time.
