BP Mobile Claims Office in St. Bernard August 3rd & 4th

 

A BP Mobile Claims Office will be available at the Frederick Sigur Civic
Center parking lot on Tuesday August 3rd and Wednesday August 4th. There
will be four claims adjustors on hand who will be available for questions
and to take claims from those affected by the BP oil spill between 10:00am
and 3:00pm.

A claim may be filed for the following:

.         Bodily Injury or Illness

.         Property Damage

.         Loss of Income

Those wishing to file a claim can expedite the process by calling
1-800-440-0858 to receive a claim number. Claimants can then bring their
claim number and the following documentation to file their claim with the BP
Mobile Claims Office:

.         Picture ID

.         Social Security Number

.         Letter from employer stating reason laid off or reduced hours

.         Tax returns from 2007 through 2009

.         Recent pay stubs

 

If the above documentation is not available or does not exist, the claimant
can bring alternative documents that may suffice such as trip tickets. The
adjustors will work with claimants to get all documentation in order.
