Avalon Hair Design Grand Opening holds ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate
its grand opening in Chalmette: Owner Chris Munoz, center left with the hat,
and Owner Patrick Francis, center right with blond hair, cut the ribbon at
the grand opening with a proclamation from Karen Turni Bazile on behalf of
St. Bernard Parish President Craig Taffaro. Several well-wishers joined them
for the ribbon cutting, including St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce Chairman
Stephen Reuther and St. Bernard Chamber Board Members Ewell "Corky" Potts
and Claudette Reuther. Avalon Hair Design, located at 8309 W. Judge Perez
Drive, Suite G in Chalmette, is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to
5 p.m. and by appointments only after 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to
