I've finally looked at a new web service called Dropbox.

If you routinely need to share files with other people or even just with
yourself on different computers, then you need Dropbox.

It basically acts as a hard drive on the Internet for you to save files. You
have the option of deciding which files to share with other people, if you
want to do so. You can just use it so that you always have access to the
same file whether at home on your desktop or on the road and using a laptop.

Although there is an app you can install to make putting files into your
Dropbox as easy as using your operating systems file manager, you can still
use Dropbox by just using your web browser.

They also will keep multiple revisions of files, up to 30 days, so it can
act as a poor man's online backup server.

2 GB's of storage is free, with options to upgrade to 50 or 100 GB's of
storage.
