Win a gift basket of $1,500 of Saints merchandise

Donations are being accepted for the St. Bernard Parish Employee Wellness
Center

 

The St. Bernard Parish Wellness Department is accepting donations for a
drawing for an enormous basket with more than $1,500 in Saints items. The
donations are $5 a ticket to benefit the Wellness Center at the St. Bernard
Parish Government Complex, and a drawing for the basket will be Oct. 29.

 

Many Parish Government employees and local businesses donated to the basket.
The basket includes: a Darren Sharper championship jersey, Saints male and
female baseball caps, two Saints female fitted t-shirts, two championship
footballs, Saints helmet bank, Book on Saints, Book on Drew Brees, Saints
umbrella, Saints t-shirt with Today's Ketch logo and $25 Today's Ketch gift
card, three pieces of Saints jewelry, four Saints towels, Saints throw,
Saints beer mug, a fleur de lis tassel, Saints lunch bag, 10 Saints
lighters, Saints license plate holder, Walmart $20 gift card and two saints
flags, a framed fleur de lis picture, framed Drew Brees Championship Frame,
A Saints wreath and a Saints king cake.

 

Those who donated items include the following departments of St. Bernard
Parish Government: Finance, Insurance and Water and Sewer. Others who
donated items included: Walgreens, Walmart, Today's Ketch, Magnolia
Discount, Winn Dixie, Uniforms Plus, Lady Bug Garden, Barker's Dozen, P & R
Trucking, 360 Trucking, Art & Frame, Shoemaker Chiropractic, Beverly's
Fashion, Linda Fernandez, Work Investment Act and Lynn Oaks School. 

   

The St. Bernard Parish Government Wellness Center was initially funded by
grants, and this raffle of the basket with donated items is meant to augment
its offerings. Employees and members of the St. Bernard Parish Council on
Aging may access the facility, which is part of an overall wellness program
implemented by Parish President Craig P. Taffaro, Jr. where employees are
encouraged to earn a certain number of wellness points a month through a
variety of healthy programs.
