The Aliance for Good Government is scheduled to meet this week to discuss

 St. Bernard Parish Hospital Millage to be placed on the Congressional
Ballot on November 2nd, 2010.

 

Wayne Landry will be speaking FOR the Millage.

Sterling Cardon will be speaking AGAINST the Millage 

 

 

How ironic, the person scheduled to speak against the tax doesn't even live
here in St.Bernard.  Not only he but several other huge commercial property
owners, that will certainly fight this millage, do not live in St. Bernard.
They live in Metairie, St. Tammany and some in Mississippi.

 

Yes, we homeowners will be assessed with this tax, but we need the hospital.


 

 I say vote yes for this tax and let the big time commercial property owners
that chose to abandon St. Bernard as their home pay it also.  jwd
