Exxon says Chalmette refinery ops back to normal

HOUSTON, Oct 14 (Reuters) - Operations at Exxon Mobil Corp's (XOM.N: Quote,
Profile, Research) 192,500 barrel-per-day refinery in Chalmette, Louisiana,
are back to normal after a hydrogen sulfide leak was fixed, a spokesman said
on Thursday.

"Operations have returned to normal," spokesman Kevin Allexon said. The leak
from a pipe was fixed late Friday and had affected production at the
refinery.

A contractor collapsed and died late Oct. 6 while working to repair the
leak. The cause of death is pending results of toxicology tests. (Reporting
