St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department held annual Homecoming Parade 

 

Floats with young riders throwing beads were a welcome site in Meraux as the
St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department kicked off homecoming activities
with its annual Homecoming Parade October 23. Youth football teams,
cheerleaders and local dance teams greeted spectators as the floats followed
the parade route leading into Hannan Sports Complex for the post-parade
games.  The parade included 20 Recreation Department youth football teams,
the St. Bernard Recreation Cheerleaders, the Andrew Jackson Middle School
Dance Team and the W. Smith Elementary School Spirit Team. For more
