	Third annual St. Bernard Parish Buccaneer Bowl to be Nov. 6-7
	
	Event at Chalmette High School Bobby Nuss Stadium to include 40
teams and
	cheerleader court
	
	
	
	Nearly 40 youth football teams will play in the third annual St.
Bernard
	Parish Buccaneer Bowl Saturday, November 6 and Sunday, November 7 at
	Chalmette High School Bobby Nuss Stadium. The tournament will
include the 20
	teams from St. Bernard, in addition to teams from Madisonville,
Slidell and
	Belle Chasse.
	
	
	
	Kick-off will be Saturday at 9 a.m., and there will be night games
under the
	lights. The St. Bernard Buccaneer Cheerleader Court that consists of
24
	Buccaneer cheerleaders and their escorts, who are St Bernard youth
football
	players, will be presented Saturday morning as well.
	
	
	
	"Family oriented events such as the Buccaneer Bowl are the types of
events
	that residents who have returned deserve because they create
treasured
	family memories," Parish President Craig P. Taffaro, Jr. said. "This
also
	gives St. Bernard a chance to showcase its rebuilt facilities to
teams from
	around the area."
