	Distribution in Violet Saturday, December 18
	
	U.S. Marine Corps Reserve will hold its Toys for Tots Community Toy
	Distribution Saturday, December 18, 2010. The event will be ages
infant to
	17. It will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lighthouse Pentecostal
Church,
	7724 E. St. Bernard Highway, Violet, LA 70092. The phone is (504)

	Over the last two years, the program has distributed more than 3,500
new
	toys to the less fortunate children in St. Bernard Parish. Children
must be
	present to receive toys. Pre-registration is not required. The event
is for
	St. Bernard residents only. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps
Reserve
	Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during
October,
	November and December each year, and distribute those toys as
Christmas
	gifts to less fortunate children in the community.
	
	Community Service will be Sunday, December 19th. Drawings will be
held in
	the 11 a.m. service for additional gifts such as bicycles and gift
cards.
	Registration for this drawing begins at 10 a.m. Winners must be
present to
	receive gift.
