10,000 Small Businesses in the Greater New Orleans Area 

Information Sessions - St. Bernard session to be Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. 

 

10,000 Small Businesses is a $500 million, 5-year initiative to unlock the
economic growth and job-creation potential of 10,000 small businesses across
the United States through greater access to business education, financial
capital, and business support services. Delgado Community College has
partnered with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses initiative to help
small businesses in the Greater New Orleans area to grow and create jobs.
Through the support of the Goldman Sachs Foundation, business owners
selected to participate in the Delgado Community College 10,000 Small
Businesses education program will receive a full scholarship covering
tuition and program materials. Delgado Community College has opened
enrollment for the 2011 10,000 Small Businesses Business and Management
Education program. 

 

The session in St. Bernard Parish will be Tuesday, December 7 from 6 to 7:30
p.m. at the St. Bernard Port in the downstairs meeting room, 9000 W. St.
Bernard Highway, Chalmette, LA 70043.
