Of course the T.P. will not disclose what race the perps are. That would be
a big help.

A St. Bernard Parish woman told authorities she was abducted outside
her
Chalmette home early Saturday and shoved into a vehicle, but was
able to
open a door and either fell or was pushed out of the vehicle as it
sped
along the street.

The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that the
23-year-old
woman was treated at University Hospital in New Orleans for minor
facial
cuts and abrasions after the incident, which occurred around 1 a.m.
Saturday.

The woman told investigators she had been dropped off at her home by
a
friend and was outside smoking a cigarette when a man driving a
dark-colored
sport utility vehicle with loud exhaust, possibly a Ford Explorer,
stopped
his vehicle and asked for directions. The woman said as she
approached the
vehicle a second man jumped from the rear passenger side and forced
her into
the back seat.

The woman said the man put a knife to her face, scratching her in
the
process. She said she was in the vehicle for several minutes,
struggling and
kicking. The woman said the got a door open and either fell or was
pushed
from the moving vehicle. The woman called 911 and a St. Bernard
Parish
sheriff's deputy found her lying on St. Avide Street near Rosetta
Drive, not
far from her home.

The Sheriff's Office did not say what street the victim lived on,
but said
investigators have been canvassing the area seeking witnesses.
Authorities
ask that anyone with information call the Sheriff's Office at
504.271.2501.

The woman described one of the men as being in his late 20s or early
30s, 5
foot 2 to 5 foot 3, with a stocky build, black hair and a thin
mustache. He
wore a black tee shirt with gold lettering. She described the other
as being
in his mid-20s, with a shaved head and thin build and wearing a
white tee
shirt.
