St. Bernard Parish officials honored three retiring St. Bernard Parish Fire
Fighters



St. Bernard Parish President Craig P. Taffaro, Jr. and the Parish Council
honored three St. Bernard Parish Fire Fighters on their retirement at this
week's Council meeting. District Chief Barry Boos retired with 30 years;
District Chief Curtis Nunez retired with 31 years and Fire Engineer Donald
Hoolahan retired with 29 years. Fire Chief Thomas Stone said all of these
dedicated firefighters were true heroes who saved many lives during
Hurricane Katrina. Shown from left in the front row: Fire Chief Thomas
