Dear Friends -

We are about to kick off 2011 and it's time to set our goals for the New

Together, we have enjoyed many successes over the past three years. We
worked to strengthen our ethics laws, revamp our workforce training system,
cut government spending and cut taxes on our people and our businesses. Our
work has taken our state light-years forward by fostering a job-friendly
economic environment that attracted economic wins from Lake Charles to
Monroe to Shreveport to New Orleans. These economic wins will bring a total
of more than 38,000 new direct and indirect jobs to our state.

In the midst of the national recession, Louisiana continues to outpace the
national economy. Despite the federal government's continued borrowing from
future generations of Americans, Louisiana continues to move forward. We
are no longer the butt of jokes about colorful politicians. Now, people
across the nation are calling us names that reflect our successes, like -
"State of the Year," "Co-State of the Year," and "Most Improved State."

But, our work is not done. One of our New Year's resolutions for 2011 must
be to run a strong reelection campaign and be able to secure another four
years in office to keep our state on the path of growth and prosperity. I
need your help to do this.

Can you contribute $1,000, $500, $100, $50, or even just $25 today to my
reelection campaign to ensure we have the resources we need to run a strong
race in 2011 and continue to keep taxes low and businesses growing in our

We have made great strides forward in the last three years and we must
continue our efforts in 2011 and the years to come. Your help RIGHT NOW is
critical to support our fight against those who want to raise your taxes
rather than forcing government to live within its means.

Let's finish the year strong. Please join me in making a commitment right
now to building a better Louisiana for our children for another four years.
Join me in standing up for Louisiana families and businesses who are already
struggling through tough financial times by fighting against those who just
want to raise taxes and grow government.

Join me in making sure 2011 is an election year marked by another important
VICTORY by making your most generous contribution of $1,000, $500, $100,
$50, or $25 right now.

Let's put running a strong reelection campaign and making Louisiana the
greatest state in the world for business investment and job creation at the
top of our Resolution list for 2011.

Governor Bobby Jindal
