St. Bernard taking applications for Farmers Market Manager at Aycock Barn

St. Bernard Parish Government is accepting applications for a Farmers Market
Manager at the Aycock Barn in the historic district of Old Arabi. The
deadline to submit applications is Friday, January 14.


 

The position will be responsible for administrative, marketing and
supervisory work in planning, coordinating and overseeing the operations of
the St. Bernard Farmers Market at the Aycock Barn. The manager will oversee
the scheduling, implementing and coordinating of a variety of activities,
including vegetables and seafood sales, trade shows, Flea Market sales and
special events. The manager also will supervise the physical plant
operations, public relations, as well as planning and implementing future
events for the building.  

 

It is preferred that applicants have experience in overseeing and managing
such facility activities.  St. Bernard Parish residents will be given
preference.
