Exxon says Chalmette LA FCCU back up

HOUSTON, Jan 12 (Reuters) - The gasoline-making fluid catalytic cracking
unit has been restarted at Exxon Mobil Corp's (XOM.N: Quote, Profile,
Research, Stock Buzz) joint-venture 192,500 barrel-per-day refinery in
Chalmette, Louisiana, a company spokesman said.
Spokesman Kevin Allexon said on Wednesday the unit was operating normally
late Tuesday.
Exxon shut the unit in mid-December. The company operates the refinery,
which it co-owns with Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA. (Reporting by
