Ronald McDonald to present his program "A Friendship Adventure"

at the St. Bernard Library Saturday, January 29

Hey kids and moms and dads, grams, gramps, aunts and uncles! Guess who's
coming to visit with St. Bernard Parish Library friends on Saturday, January
29th? It's Ronald McDonald! Ronald will present his latest program, 'A
Friendship Adventure' and he's going to need an enthusiastic audience to
help! This new show has great songs, magic tricks, and fun games that
promote friendship, cooperation and anti-bullying. Library friends of all
ages will laugh at the funny antics of everyone's favorite icon. Ronald
will be available following the program for individual photos so grown-ups
are reminded to bring their cameras.

This 45-minute show marks the beginning of the 2011 Saturday Morning Family
Fun series and will take place at the St. Bernard Council on Aging site
located at 8201 W. Judge Perez Dr. in Chalmette. Ronald's show will start
promptly at 10:30 a.m. so audience members are encouraged to arrive on time
to ensure good seating and a chance to help Ronald with the show.

Each month area residents will have the opportunity to enjoy performances
such as music, theater, storytelling, magic and more. These performances,
as well as the library's annual summer reading program are sponsored by a
grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural
Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism in cooperation
with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the St. Tammany
Commission on Cultural Affairs.

Anyone needing more information is asked to call the library at 504-279-0448
or visit the library's temporary location at 7701 W. Judge Perez Dr. in
Arabi. Library hours are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. and
Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. through 5 p.m.
