2011 ART IN APRIL FESTIVAL

CALL FOR CRAFTERS/ARTISTS/RESTAURANTS

 

            The 2011 Art in April Festival will be held on Saturday, April
16th at Sidney Torres Park in Chalmette, Louisiana from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m.  Organizers are seeking local Restaurants, Caterers, Crafters, and
Artists to participate. Booths are $50 for a 10 x 10 space. For more
information, please contact the St. Bernard Office of Tourism at
(504)278-4242, e-mail fmoran at sbpg.net or come by the new St. Bernard Parish
Visitors Center at 409 Aycock Street in Arabi, Louisiana to pick up an
application.

            The event is sponsored by St. Bernard Parish Government, St.
Bernard Parish Art Guild, and St. Bernard Parish Schools supported by a
grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts as administered by the St.
Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs. This year's event will feature live
music, art exhibits, children's pavilion, local food, and crafts. Admission
is free and open to the public.
