[StBernard] Traffic notice - Judge Seeber Bridge having mechanical problems; extended closures expected now through April 2

La 39 (Judge Seeber Bridge) Orleans Parish at Claiborne Avenue 

 

Due to mechanical problems encountered on the 29th, the DOTD will begin
operating the Judge Seeber Bridge on a special schedule in advance of the
planned April 2nd closure.

 

This temporary schedule will be in effect 30th until April 2nd at 12:01 am.


 

Judge Seeber Bridge will open to marine vessels at 10:00 am & 2:00 pm,
vehicular traffic should expect 30 to 40 minutes delay.

 

Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic at 6:00 pm until 6:00 am; the
bridge will be in raised position to allow the backlog of river traffic to
pass.

 

As of April 2nd 12:01 am, the Judge Seeber Bridge will be closed to
vehicular traffic as previously scheduled for our deck and stringer
replacement. 24 hours a day for 7 weeks.
