It also lines up fairly well with an Intra Coastal Canal on the west bank of
the Mississippi River, making a future shipping channel even more
conveeeenient!!   
 
In the council meeting this week, scientist Dr. Gagliano explained to the
council that the salinity levels have improved greatly since the placement
of rock barrier in the MR - GO and that an increase in freshwater is not
