Decentralized Arts Funding Grants applications being accepted through June 1

 

Guidelines and application forms are now available for the Decentralized
Arts Funding (DAF) Grants Program in St. Tammany and St. Bernard Parishes.
They may be downloaded at www.stpgov.org/arts <http://www.stpgov.org/arts> .
Grants are available for arts organizations and for project assistance to a
variety of artists and other entities.  All projects must occur between
October 1, 2011 and September 30, 2012.  Applications are due Tuesday, June
1, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.  

 

The program is administered by the Commission on Cultural Affairs of St.
Tammany Parish Government. The Decentralized Arts Funding Program is funded
by the State of Louisiana, Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural
Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, Office of the
Lt. Governor.

 

The Commission on Cultural Affairs will host a series of free workshops
explaining the program guidelines and how to complete application forms.
Due to space limitations, please RSVP one day prior to the workshop either

Workshop sessions will be held on the following dates: 

*	Monday, April 25, 2011 at 6 p.m. in the St. Tammany Parish Council
Chambers, 21490 Koop Dr., Mandeville. 
*	Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 10 a.m. in the second floor conference
room of the St. Bernard Parish Government Complex, 8201 W. Judge Perez Dr.,
Chalmette.
