St. Bernard Parish Government is accepting applications for Fire Civil
Service Board

 

St. Bernard Parish Government is accepting applications to fill openings on
the St. Bernard Parish Fire Civil Service Board. Members of the St. Bernard
Parish Fire Civil Service Board have the authority to investigate any
complaints made by the general public, members of the classified service or
the governing body regarding violations of the Civil Service law.  The board
has the power to adopt and execute rules, regulations and orders, and to
amend or repeal such rules, regulations and orders.

 

Requirements for all Board or Commission appointments are as follows:

1.     A resident of St. Bernard Parish

2.     A registered voter of St. Bernard Parish

 

Applications are available between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through
Friday in the St. Bernard Parish Government Personnel Department. The
Personnel Department is located on the ground floor of the Government
Complex Building. The St. Bernard Parish Government Complex building is
located at 8201 West Judge Perez Drive, Chalmette, LA 70043.

 

The application period is open from Monday, May 16, 2011 through Friday,
June 3, 2011. This is a volunteer board.
