Because the 4th is on a Monday. (?)  Probably be a long weekend but you can
still go this event on Sunday and the be able to do your own barbeque and
celebrations on Monday.  Just a guess.

	St. Bernard Salutes America 27th Annual Celebration will be Sunday,
July 3rd
	
	Sponsors and vendors needed for event that features music, food and
	fireworks at Torres Park
	
	
	
	The St. Bernard Salutes America 27th Annual Celebration will be held
at
	Torres Park and the Community Playground on Sunday, July 3. The
celebration
	will be from 5 to 9 p.m. in Torres Park at 8201 W. Judge Perez Drive
in
	Chalmette behind the St. Bernard Parish Government Complex. There
will be
	music, hot dogs, balloons, snowballs, face painting, popcorn, and
lots of
	fireworks. Admission is free.
	
	The event will begin with the annual Patriotic Program sponsored by
the St.
	Bernard Business & Professional Women's Club, Inc. prior to the St.
Bernard
	Salutes America event. Citizens may bring a bell and join in ringing
the
	replica of the Liberty Bell that was presented as a USA Bicentennial
gift to
	the citizens of St. Bernard Parish by the members of the Business &
	Professional Women's Club.
	
	The event needs sponsors and community support. Sponsor and vendor
