[StBernard] State police say motorcyclist killed early Sunday in St. Bernard Parish

CHALMETTE, La. - A man who lost control of the motorcycle he was driving in
Chalmette as he approached traffic that was stopped for a red light was
thrown from the cycle and killed.

State police say the accident happened early Sunday. Twenty-one-year-old
Justin Hanna of Chalmette was traveling at high speed east on Louisiana
Highway 46 when he began braking as he approached the stopped traffic. He
lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle. His body struck a car
stopped at the red light.

Hanna was pronounced dead at the scene. State police say speed was a factor
in the accident.
