[StBernard] Depressing, but a MUST READ - A tear in the union.

Jer,

I made that comment about 8 months ago and was told I was crazy for even
making such an observation-analysis, let alone the conclusion I drew. I was
told "no one in any state government, south or elsewhere, would ever say or
do anything to give the impression they could be thinking about the
possibility of succession.

But then came State Representative Mike Pitts of South Carolina, who has
proposed a bill that South Carolina begin printing its own currency. Go to:

Okay, bet your thinking "but that's only one odd ball, right?" Guess again,
now a state legislator in North Carolina is authoring a bill to do the same
thing. Go to:

ds.html

Folks, just remember this universal fact: Even the largest dam that burst
and completely crumbled, started with just the tiniest crack. We're
starting to see the first cracks. If these two southern legislators are
actually proposing legislation to do that, then you know legislators
throughout the south, including Texas, Oklahoma and probably Alaska, are
likely having similar thoughts.

Jer Responds:

I agree, wholeheartedly. As the south tends to vote mostly conservative to
the union's demands to follow the progressives and liberals, along with the
socialists in nature, the next civil war will draw its strength from the
dissolution of the union into its own conservative states of
America--leading to the same outcome as the 1800's civil war. The
divisiveness between the socialists and the conservatives will ultimately
find its ultimate outcome in a civil war between the two ideologies or in
this case, the battle (if not in a physical nature, but an ideology one)
will again divide itself along the Mason-Dixon Line. Biblically, as the
Bible belt divides the north from the south historically, it will again
split itself with the South vs. the rest of the union states.

History again, looks as though it will repeat itself and there will be a
micro-battle within the states itself in its attempt to side itself
politically (socialists vs. conservatives). Remember the ideology of
democrats and liberals are now over and in the past. On the:

COMMUNISM_________<<--- SOCIALISTS
_________***____________________________________________CONSERVATIVES

..scale of political affiliation, the U.S. has been moving exponentially in
the past 10-15 years to the left, tragically, or as marked by the
"asterisks" above. The fabric of mainstream (middle) has lost its political
ground and moving toward communism.

Again, I agree politically with your statement and observation, John. We're
at a serious crossroads which the average citizen has not spent enough time
on "reflectively" to notice it's that serious and how it will affect our
everyday lives.

Sorrowful,

--jer--
