Spring Clean Sweep June 20th through July 13th

Residents should put trash at their curb at the beginning of their assigned
week

 

St. Bernard residents will be able to put out trash from general spring
cleaning that will be picked up from the curb during the Spring Clean Sweep
June 20th through July 13. This event allows the parish to pick up trash
that wouldn't normally be picked up from residences. That means it's time
for people to clean out their sheds and attics without worrying how to get
the trash hauled away. This effort is for trash generated from general
cleaning only. No demolition or construction debris will be hauled away.
Additionally, no household hazardous waste will be picked up. 

 

Trash will be picked up on the following schedule so make sure your trash is
at curb side at the beginning of the week for your area:

.       June 20-26: The sweep will be from the eastern end of the parish to
the Violet Canal.

.       June 27-July 5: The sweep will be from Violet Canal to Paris Road.

.       July 6-13: The sweep will be from Paris Road to the parish line in
Arabi.
