[StBernard] mtg tonight

Dana,

Let me suggest this - and it's very important. At tonight's Council
meeting, request to have someone with the parish state for the record that
the development is "not" in compliance to receive the permit in accordance
with the laws and procedure (code) required by State of Louisiana. That was
the last reason Craig gave for the parish not granting the permit - because
they weren't in compliance with State requirements. I think it needs to be
established on the official record if that's still the case.

Dear All,

Please plan on attending the Council meeting tonight, at 7:00 p.m., as the
Council members are going to need to vote on whether or not to give
President Taffaro permission to continue to incur the debt associated with
the fines imposed by Judge Berrigan regarding the Provident Realty
apartments.

Please contact your councilman and tell him to vote to allow President
Taffaro to continue to incur the debt because if they vote not to allow
Craig to continue to incur the debt, that would be the same as if that
councilman is voting to issue the building permits. If Craig is not given
permission to continue to incur the debt, he will have not other choice but
to issue the permits, and we all know we DO NOT want that to happen.

Also, please sign up to speak at the meeting, and tell the councilmen
exactly what I have stated above, that we DO NOT want permits issued so they
MUST vote to allow the parish to incur the debt.

Thank you.

Dana Arcement
