St. Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market to host First Art and Wine Walk
August 11th

Applications are being accepted for crafters and food vendors through August
5th



The St. Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market will host its first Art and Wine
Walk event on Thursday, August 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Aycock Barn, 409
Aycock Street in the heart of the Old Arabi Historic District. The Art and
Wine Walk will be a monthly event held the second Thursday of each month and
will showcase the various artistic and culinary talents prevalent in St.
Bernard Parish. Local artists and crafters as well as restaurants are
encouraged to participate in the event. The Art and Wine Walk offers an
excellent opportunity for community members and visitors to easily
experience art as well as enjoy local culinary tastes and live
entertainment.



The rental space for the Art and Wine Walk is $30 for each vendor. Vendors
are responsible for bring their own products, table, chairs, etc. The St.
Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market is accepting applications until August
5th, 2011. To become a vendor, please contact Market Manager Ashley Proze at
(504) 355-4442 or stop by the Visitor Information Center at 409 Aycock
Street in Arabi, Louisiana. The market, at 409 Aycock Street, Arabi, La
70032, can be accessed off of St. Claude Avenue by turning south at the
signs that say St. Bernard Visitor Center and Seafood and Farmers Market.
