My name is Carrie Beth Lasley and I a doctoral student in Urban Studies at
the University of New Orleans. I am currently conducting research for my
dissertation, which is on the St. Bernardians after Katrina. I looking at
long-term recovery, but by that I do not mean the dollar figures usually
associated with recovery. When talking about recovery, usually you hear
about the amount of money it cost to rebuild the parish in terms of
restoring buildings. I more interested in where the people went, and how
when you have such a large number of people moving, oftentimes, moving more
than once, how does that affect the community.

What I asking of you is that if you did live in St. Bernard prior to
Hurricane Katrina (no matter where you live now) please consider taking the
time to complete my survey which can be completed online at
http://www.whereyatstbernard.com <http://www.whereyatstbernard.com/> .
Please feel free to invite friends or family members as well.

At the conclusion of the survey, you may volunteer for an interview study
covering many of the same issues. You may also interact with other survey
participants in the forum. All of this is located at
http://www.whereyatstbernard.com. <http://wwwwhereyatstbernard.com./>

Thanks for all your help!
