Or I wonder if Reed reminded people at the Town Hall meeting how he was
adamantly in favor of nearly tripling his legislative pay and on a radio
talk show got angry at callers who disagreed with him?

Could that be the real reason he gave up his legislator's job to run for
assessor?  To go from a $18,000 a year job to one that pays $93,000 a year?
