Man charged with sex crimes against young boy now charged with crimes
against young girls

VIOLET, La - A 41-year-old man who was already under indictment in the
sexual battery of a young boy was booked on three additional charges of sex
crimes involving young girls, according to St. Bernard Parish Deputy Sheriff
James Pohlmann.

David Williams was indicted by a grand jury earlier this year for the crime
involving the young boy.

He is set to stand trial in September.

Pohlmann said that since Williams' arrest, deputies received reports of
other crimes and the investigations led to the other charges.

In one of the cases, Williams was booked with the aggravated rape of a girl
who was 7 when the alleged acts began and who is now 14.

Investigations of the other two incident concluded with a charge of simple
rape of a juvenile girl and molestation of a juvenile girl.
