44-year-old Chalmette man's body found in Mississippi River

NEW ORLEANS -- Police and officials from the coroner's office were on the
scene as authorities located and removed a body found on the Mississippi
River Wednesday morning.
The body has been identified as that of a 44-year-old man from Chalmette,
according to the coroners office.
The body was found floating near the Steamboat Natchez by Harbor Police.
No details yet from authorities on a description of the body, but State
Police confirmed that the body was not the suspect, 22-year-old Kylan
Laurent, of Vacherie, who jumped from the Gramercy bridge Tuesday.
