St. Bernard Parish is still under Tropical Storm Warning

St. Bernard Parish residents that live outside of the Hurricane Protection
System are asked to be aware that tidal flooding is expected to continue
throughout the night and through the next several days. This will directly
affect all communities below Reggio.

If any residents do not have the ability to shelter in place, they are asked
to contact the Office of Emergency Preparedness at (504) 278-4268 as soon as
possible.

All residents are also encouraged to remain in their homes for safety
reasons, and only travel if it is absolutely necessary. St. Bernard Parish
is still under a Tropical Storm warning and heavy rain bands and gusting
winds are still expected to impact St. Bernard Parish. Unfamiliar roadways
should be avoided.

Residents may contact the parish Emergency Operations Center at 278-4268 if
they have any issues to report or if they need to ask for assistance.
Residents can register their cellular phones to receive updates at
www.sbpg.net <http://www.sbpg.net> or by calling (504) 278-4268

The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's office can also respond to calls for
assistance and they can be reached at (504) 271-2501.
