St. Bernard council candidate pulls out of District B race

Guy Parzynski has withdrawn from the race for the District B seat on the St.
Bernard Parish Council.

Three other candidates remain in the race: Nathan Gorbaty, a Democrat; Randy
Muscarello Jr., no party; and Joe Oster, a Republican. Parzynski also is a
Republican, and all four men are Chalmette residents.

The election is Oct. 22, and a runoff, if necessary, will be Nov. 19.
