And the Alliance for Good Government is the very same organization that gave
their Outstanding Legislator Award to "Dollar" Bill Jefferson just a couple
of years ago.  When you realize that, suddenly their credibility and their
political endorsement don't seem to be worth much!

The legislators honored were: Jefferson Parish, state Sen. Julie Quinn,
R-Metairie; Orleans Parish, state Rep. Walt Leger III, D-New Orleans;  St.
Bernard Parish, District B Councilman George Cavignac; and St. Tammany
Parish, District 9 Councilman Gene Bellisario.
