St. Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market to host Oktoberfest Art and Wine Walk
on October 13th

 

The St. Bernard Seafood and Farmers Market will host an Oktoberfest Art and
Wine Walk Thursday, October 13th from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Aycock Barn in the
heart of the Old Arabi Historic District. This month's event will feature
the German music of Julie Council, German-style food options, and a
selection of German-inspired beverages, including a several wines and beers
to sample.  Local artists, crafters and restaurants will be participating to
showcase various artistic and culinary talents prevalent in St. Bernard
Parish. 

 

The Art and  Wine Walk offers an excellent opportunity for residents and
visitors to easily experience art and enjoy local culinary tastes and live
entertainment. Enjoy the spirit of a family-friendly German Oktoberfest here
in Historic Old Arabi at the Aycock Barn. 

 

Art and restaurant vendor space is limited.  Vendors interested in more
information and an application may contact the Market Coordinator Amanda
Hardesty at (504) 355-4442 or stop by the Visitor Information Center at 409
Aycock Street in Arabi, Louisiana.  Inquiries may also be may by email to
market at sbpg.net.  The market can be accessed off of St. Claude Avenue by
turning south at the signs that say St. Bernard Visitor Center and Seafood
and Farmers Market.
