Is this another ingenious idea by Craig Taffaro?

Our Veterans should be honored.

Veterans Day is November 11th and has been set aside as a paid government
holiday specifically to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to
honor our Veterans. November 10th is NOT Veterans Day. With several
family members who are veterans and cannot take off of work November 10th,
this is just distrubing that St. Bernard Parish would try and change the
date.

Veterans Day is an annual United States holiday honoring military veterans.
It is a federal holiday that is observed on November 11. It is also
celebrated as Armistice Day or Remembrance Day in other parts of the world
and falls on November 11, the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice
that ended World War I . (Major hostilities of World War I were formally
ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 with the
German signing of the Armistice.)
