But in early voting, that little card you stick in the machine knows how you
voted. There, they can pinpoint how each illegal voter voted.

What I have gathered, mainly from the many challenges to Lynn Dean's
residency way back when, the Courts are very reluctant to dismiss a vote.
Like in criminal cases, where you have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt,
they take the same approach to dismissing votes.

The biggest problems Rupp has is time and money. How quick can he get the
courts to look at it and bring it to the Supreme Court if necessary? Once
Jan. 1 rolls around and the new council is sworn in, I think the chances are
greatly diminished.

You would think that finding 16 cases of voter fraud would be enough to call
a special election, but I think it would take much more than that. Maybe 100
or more sustained challenges, and based off of what we've seen so far, I
don't think the numbers are there.

I'm pulling for him, because the integrity of the election is at stake, but
I don't know how successful he will be.

Human nature being what it is, I don't see Ray Lauga wanting to challenge
the election either. He is the current winner, and as Debby said,
campaigning is hard work. However, there should also be some part of Lauga
that says there is a trace of illegitimacy and he would want it removed.
