Chinese drywall manufacturer reaches settlement

Knauf Plasterboard Tianjin, a major manufacturer of problem drywall imported
from China, has reached a global settlement with homeowners affected by the
product, it was announced Thursay. All homeowners with LKPT drywall will be
compensated.

The total value of the settlement is estimated to be from $800 million to $1
billion.
The company's product ended up in an estimated 4300 homes.
