Certainly Shaw would have known that better than anyone.  He was one the
central and key founders of the Fabian Society in England, which has now
spread around the world.  The Fabian Society was then and still is a
radical-progressive-socialist think tank whose goal (by its own charter) is
to "fan the fires of socialism to reshape the world" according to its
socialist doctrine.  You can google the "Fabian Society" and read of its
origin and history, and note you will never find a single conservative as
one of its members - how odd?  To no surprise, among its current members are
Hillary Clinton, Nelson Mandela and Tony Blair, to name only a few.  In
fact, you should easily be able to pull up links that assess most of the
major problems facing world governments today are as a direct cause of the
radical socialist policies that were pushed for by Fabian Society members
who were also government officials.  Obama has often spoken of his
admiration for the Fabian Society - no surprise there!
