Deputies bust Chalmette meth lab

Chalmette -- St. Bernard deputies say a tip from the public led them to a
Chalmette house where a meth lab was set up, and they've arrested two men
and two women living there.

"A tip from the public about people coming and going from the residence
started an investigation that led to the arrests," reads a news release from
the St. Bernard Sheriff's Office.

Agents of the sheriff's Special Investigations Division found about six
grams of meth at the residence at 43 E. Chalmette Circle Tuesday evening.
That amount is worth about $700. 

All four suspects - 29-year-old David Troulliet, 26-year-old Justin
Chambers, 26-year-old Paige Hoffman and 34-year-old Jessica Sevin - are
being held in St. Bernard Parish Prison on $300,000 bonds. Troulliet
allegedly had most of the meth and production precursors in his room, while
Chambers was found with meth on him, according to investigators.

"All are booked with creation or operation of a clandestine meth lab,
possession of meth, manufacture with intent to produce and distribute meth
and possession of drug paraphernalia," reads the statement.

The Sheriff's Office asks anyone who sees possible drug activity to call
their anonymous drug line at (504) 271-DOPE.
