I agree totally.  Where does it end.  Our homeowners insurance went up
$1000.00 for the year and it does not cover patio, garage or carports.  So
someone tell me why have insurance.  This is totally out of hand anymore.
You cheat your are forgiven but you do the right things and you just keep
paying.....

Question:  Was all of the equipment and such replaced after Katrina and was
the cost covered by FEMA?

Just because the fees haven't been increased is no reason to seek an
increase unless parish officials can come up with valid reasons for the
increase.  It is utterly disgusting when you open up the cable bill and see
all of the *fees* you pay each month.
