Item on Council Agenda for Tuesday May 1, 2012 indicated zoning change on Chalona Drive vetoed.  A perspective tenant is the micro brewery.

25. On motion to OVERRIDE the Parish Presidential Veto of Ordinance SBPC #1293-04-12, an Ordinance to approve Docket 03-12, petition of Cardon Real Estate Holdings No. 4, L.L.C. for a zoning change from “C-1, Neighborhood Commercial)” “R-1, (Single Family Residential)” and to “C-1, Neighborhood Commercial)” and (Conditional Use) for the following described property: property is designated as lot C-1 and measures 83.72 feet front on East St. Bernard Highway, by a depth of 601.35 feet on one side and a depth on the opposite sideline of 582.27 feet and a width in the rear of 81.35 feet: Municipal Numbers 2004, 2006 and 2010 Chalona Drive. In accordance with Section 2-14(b) of the St. Bernard Parish Home Rule Charter, the ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage of this override.
