St. Bernard Parish Tropical Storm Isaac Update 8-30-12

St. Bernard Parish Officials are assessing damage caused by Hurricane Isaac. Parish Government crews continue to clear trees and debris from the roadways. The phone lines are down in the government building so residents will have to email questions or concerns to lduplessis at sbpg.net.

As a result of the loss of power to the sewer lift stations residents are asked to minimize water usage and limit flushing of the toilets.

St. Bernard Parish Government Emergency Operations Center will continue to work around the clock for the duration of the event.

Parish officials will continue to provide updates to the public as time and resources allow.
