ENTERGY UPDATE 9-1-12

 

Entergy workers continue to restore power to customers in St. Bernard
Parish.  About 8,000 customers parish-wide have been restored.

 

.         Entergy currently has 300 employees and contractors on the ground
working in St. Bernard Parish.

.         The entire backbone of Entergy's system has been restored (all
feeders are in).

.         A backbone feeder damage assessment so far includes:

 

o   124 poles

o   96  spans of wire

o   36 transformers

o   71 Cross Arms

o   30 services

o   60 spans of trees

 

.         A Customer Information Center will open soon at the office in
Chalmette  

o   201 E. Liberaux Street, Chalmette
